About Dothan Nurseries

Buds & Blossoms Nursery was opened in 1975 on Highway 431 just north of Dothan, Alabama by Bobby and Rhoda Boone. In 1988 Dothan Nurseries opened at 1300 Montgomery Highway as a branch location proved to provide a convenient location for Dothan shoppers to purchase their plants, trees and landscaping supplies.

Currently Dothan Nurseries is operated by John David Boone, son of Bobby and Rhoda. J.D. grew up assisting his parents in the nursery business, therefore he understands the needs of Dothan Customers. In addition, having been around plants for over 30 years, J.D. has a wealth of knowledge and experience Dothan Nursery customers can rely on to help insure quality plants that meet their needs and expectations year after year.
