Well, it's the moment you've all been waiting for . . . it's been one year . . . you've been saving your money . . . some of you took out loans . . .
It's the PEANUT FESTIVAL!
And I've been excited for it too, but for a really odd reason. Yes, the Corn Dogs and Funnel Cakes, but mostly to get my picture made. With my son. On a roller coaster.
I don't know if you remember, but this time every year I update you with the most recent and older pictures of me and my son Cas on the Mouse Roller Coaster. We've done it every year for the past 6 years, but I only recently started purchasing the pictures. Here is what i'm talking about . . .
This is me and my son Cas on the Mouse Roller Coaster the last five years. Yep, I said 5, we missed getting the picture one year. We didn't really figure out it was a THING until I looked up one day and had 3 pictures and decided, yep, we need to do this every year. The sweetest thing to me was my son last Sunday night though. He was meeting a group of teenage boys at the fair. So I made sure we went a little early so we could get our picture on the roller coaster, before his friends arrived. I was getting the feeling that he really didn't want to do the picture with me. Like he was just getting too old for it. After we got off the ride, I told him thank you so much and how much it meant to me. He said, "Dad, I wanted to do that, it's our tradition!" A happy dad I was! Speaking of traditions, Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming! Check out below to see what goodies we have coming in for you.
Happy Gardening,
JD Boone
P.S.
