We’ve wanted to bring this one in for a long time… and we finally did.

Meet the Yuzu Lemon. Famous in Japan for its unbelievably fragrant fruit and unique citrus flavor, but what really makes this one exciting for South Alabama is something else: cold hardiness.

Unlike many lemons that panic at the first hard freeze, Yuzu is known for handling colder temperatures better than traditional citrus. That means more confidence growing citrus in our area and more chances to enjoy homegrown fruit without crossing your fingers every winter. That means you can plant it in the ground!

The fruit is aromatic, tart, and incredible for drinks, cooking, marinades, desserts, and honestly just walking outside and smelling the tree.

This is our first time ever offering Yuzu, and we are ridiculously excited to finally have them here.
